Lower Jahil Guide/Walkthrough + Glitches.

Hello everybody. I'm bored as usual so I decided to make a guide on Lower Jahil. This guide should help those of you who are not familiar with this raid and/or have not done this raid before. This guide will also teach you the basics, the glitches for Efreet and will hopefully teach you how to complete the raid successfully.

Starter Tips and Basic Facts
1) Attribute wise, Lower Jahil is a fire based raid. Wizards are quite useful for they have quite a good amount of ice attacks.
2) Always have at least one Healer, if not, you're going to fail.
3) If playing as a Dacy, save your invincible frame skills for harder monsters such as the Magma Monsters and Golem of Flames.
4) Watch out for the big Soul of Flames. Their punch does 400-500 damage and covers a long distance. If moving carelessly and got hit by two or three of those punches, it will cost you a life.
5) It is best to always keep your HP above 50%. Sometimes you get separated from your Healer when you have low HP and often get mobbed.
6) Check that the Dacy in your party can/know how to glitch. It seems quite impossible to kill Efreet without glitching.

Glitches
Glitch number 1:
Placement: Stand at the left most edge of the rock and summon Pandano when facing the left.
Information: When Efreet breaks the rock, you can go through the rock. After the short clip ends, walk into the rock, turn left, facing the edge then summon Pandano.

Glitch number 2:
Placement: Stand about 3 inches down from the entrance of Efreet's altar. Summon Pandano facing the bottom.
Information: The glitch I stated later on in the guide is not that efficient. It will most likely screw up the glitch because of how the bamboo will spawn. After experimenting, summoning while facing the bottom is the best because you can't place it too close to the altar, although you can place it a bit too far, but that is highly unlikely. You can choose which way you like to glitch but I find this way to be better. In any case, both ways work.

First you have to find a party.(Obviously) Try to look for a party with at least 2 healers. They are a lot of help in this raid.


After you found your party, we're ready to go. Enter the stage and start the raid. This is the waiting area. Just like all the other raids, everybody must step on that whirlpool to proceed to the next area. That Land Spirit there gives you some quest so don't forget to sign up for them!


Let the battle begin. Eliminate all the Soul of Flames and protect the Land/Earth spirits.[Watch out for the Land/Earth spirits. You can't walk through them so they tend to block and sometime trap you.]


After you eliminate all the Soul of Flames, a magical bridge will come out of the lava. A Red Dragon will also land on that bridge. Your next task is to kill that dragon.

Yay dragon's dead!


Same as before, move on to the next area and kill all the Soul of Flames.


After all the Soul of Flames are dead, gather around the staircase to move on to the next area.


Kill, kill, kill! Kill more! Remember, killing is fun!


When you're done killing, move all the way to the right and wait there. You'll earn some additional EXP points from saving those Land/Earth Spirits. Another magical bridge will appear from the lava.



Moving on.. Efreet will appear and say some random things. He thing uses YETI SMASH and breaks the stone.
After he the scene is over, make a Dacy summon Pandano to glitch Efreet for later. More explanation and screenshot will be shown later on in the guide.

After that go to the top and wait there. A portal will appear and you'll get teleported into the next area. Your objective now is to retrive 3 Land Spirits. There will be 3 portals in the area you have been teleported to. The left portal consist of Dark Skeleton Sentinels. The middle portal consist of Golem of Flames and golems. The right portal consist of Magma Monsters and Soul of Flames. Kill all the monsters in those portals to obtain the Land Spirits.
Most parties obtain these spirits in a certain order. First is the left, then right, then middle. Basically going from the easiest portal to the hardest.



The Golem of Flames might be tough to fight if you don't know how it attack. It only have two attacks. One is a flame attack where it pounds its arm on the ground and a line of flame pops up vertically and damage you. The second attack is an arm swing, like the one Rotem Temple Guardian use, that knocks you down and stuns you for awhile. As hard as it sounds, these Golem of Flames are not hard to fight at all.
Here are some tips on how to fight these golems without breaking a sweat.
Tips: When fighting these golems, always stand in front of them. When you're in front of them, they won't be able to hit you with the flame attack that does quite some damage. They can still get you with the arm swing but that doesn't do as much damage. It only does 400ish damage. Tank those golems like you would do to Daru.

After you obtain all 3 Land Spirits, go back to the area you just came from. The bottom portal will open and it will lead you back to the broken stone that is now rebuild.--
Going back to the Efreet scene. After the scene you will start the glitch on Efreet. Here's how the glitch works. A Dacy will stand a good distance to the left of the stone. That Dacy will then summon Pandano, which will spawn some Bamboos, that will distract Efreet later on. Once the Bamboos are set, defend Pandano somewhere safe or kill it. You will need to resummon it later on for its Bamboos.
--After you go back, Efreet will spawn and start attacking you. This isn't the actual boss fight. It is just the first form of Efreet, just like in the Kanhel raid. Once you take out 3/4 of his HP, it will retreat. If the glitch is done correctly, it should look something like this. If not, good luck taking 3/4 of his HP and hope that your Healers are experienced.

Once 3/4 of his HP is gone, he will retreat and spawn some meteors. You will be notified by the red dragon on the floor. Try to dodge them for they do quite a lot of damage. Also, throughout the raid, these meteors will continue to fall but they won't do as much as the ones Efreet used. [They only do 400ish]


After the battle with Efreet, have your party split into two. Have 2-3 people stay at the top and guard the stone while the rest go down and proceed with the raid. I recommend having a Healer and one or two attackers defending the stone. Mini bosses such as the Magma Monsters and Golem of Flames will appear.
Those who go down will have to clear all the monsters in four different sections. The monsters are the same as before[Magma Monsters, Golem of Flames, Soul of Flames, Hellfire Hunting Dogs, Magma Creature, and Hellfire Hunting Dog Leader.]






After clearing all the monsters in the four sections, you will be stumbled upon a gate.[There was actually another gate that I forgot to that. The gate is inbetween sections 2 and 3 and you have to break it in order to continue.] Break the gate to continue. Watch out for the meteors. They usually fall in front of the gate a lot.


After the gate is gone, you will stumble upon a bridge with two Golem of Flames. Kill them and continue forth the bridge. On the other side of the bridge, there are 4 Giant Soul of Flames and Efreet's Altar. When a Giant Soul of Flame dies, a few Soul of Flames will spawn. Kill them all before breaking the altar.


When all the mobs are gone, you set up your second glitch. This glitch is done on the bridge. Set it up before breaking the altar because one the altar is broken, Efreet will spawn. A Dacy will stand a good distance from the entrance of the altar room. He/she will spawn Pandano either facing foward or to the left/right. I suggest to the left/right because spawning it while facing foward might cause you some problem if the Bamboo is too close. It should look something like this.


After you set up the glitch, you're ready to own. Destroy the altar and Efreet will spawn. The boss attack screen will pop up and that beast will appear. Now your party should decide which way they want to lure Efreet. Either to the right or the left, depending on how your Bamboo is set up. Most parties will lure him to the left.



When Efreet spawns, two other mini bosses will spawn with him. They are the Golem of Flames and Magma Monster along with a few Soul of Flames. Efreet will spawn all the way at the top. He won't move unless someone goes near him. From here, you can do one of two things:
1) Eliminate the Golem of Flames and Magma Monster first.
2) Glitch them along with Efreet.
If you decide to choose the first option, simply eliminate them with your party and then lure Efreet down to the two spots I showed you earlier.
If you decide to choose the second option, get one person to go up and aggro all of them then glitch tham all at once.
If done correctly, it should look something like this.


From this point on, it's history. Efreet won't be able to attack because he's distracted by the Bamboo. Your party just attack him continuosly until he dies.


Congratulations! We are done. You are now an official Lower Jahil. pro!

Now that you got a basic idea of how the raid works, you will be able to complete this raid without any problems. I hope this guide have been some use to those who have never done this raid and to those who didn't know how to glitch. Hope you had fun reading this. Happy raiding~
